Requirements
The Associate Pastor at Central Baptist Church serves as a vital member of the pastoral team, providing support to the Senior Pastor and Deacons while focusing on shepherding in specific ministry areas within the congregation. This role encompasses pastoral care, teaching, preaching, administrative duties, and overall leadership within the church community.

Requirements:

Alignment with the pastoral qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. -

Minimum of 3 years of experience serving in a church with responsibilities similar to this position.

Demonstrated proficiency in preaching and teaching. - Ability to effectively engage and connect with families.

Commitment to disciple-making and fostering spiritual growth.

Possession of a servant's heart and a professional pastoral demeanor.

Proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to anticipate needs and follow through efficiently.

Competence in carrying out various administrative tasks associated with the role.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Senior Pastor in overseeing the Senior Adult Ministry.

Provide biblical counseling, prayer, and ministry to individuals in need.

Cultivate relationships with families to facilitate their growth in Christ-likeness.

Participate in and support mission projects of the church.

Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and Deacons to oversee both in-reach and outreach ministries.

Partner with the Senior Pastor in hospital visitation and pastoral care for the sick, as well as fulfilling other visitation requests.

Oversee education and discipleship programs within the church.

Assist the Senior Pastor in providing oversight and direction to other staff members and ministry leaders.

Support the Senior Pastor in planning and implementing the church's vision and ministry objectives.

Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
